This small restaurant in South Tyrol is an absolute gem! Their regional cuisine is simply outstanding - every dish is full of flavor and authenticity. Moreover, the service here is top-notch, with quick and attentive staff. It's definitely worth a visit if you appreciate authentic flavors and excellent service!
The terrace can be very busy when the weather is fine, especially in the holiday season or during the weekend. The food is very nice though and the staff is helpful, even when it is very crowded.
The walk uphill from the lake is a bit tiresome when it is hot, the way down is easy though.
Take the clockwise route around the lake, so you have the easy part ahead of you when getting back to your means of transportation. Enjoy your meal!
There is no cue, nor waiters regulating access to the venue. Meaning that the stronger wins and grabs the table. Ok for me, I am a big guy. Service is remarkably slow. Food is ok, prices are ok. Nothing terrible one would say. The issue is that a cow has eaten my dish. I found this occurrence funny enough, to be honest; It was much less funny the fact that I had to pay for the dish eaten by the cow.
The owner is a disgusting person, I hope his activity will bankrupt soon enough.
Don’t recommend to order tiramisu here..

Friendly service, good lunch food, family friendly, they let us use their cottage to change our baby. Easy walk from the lake for lunch, a nice family activity, beautiful nature & cute cottage.

Should be open untill 17.00 hrs. Arrived at 15.50 hrs. Personell sat outside and said it was closed. No service!
A beautiful stopping point while hiking near Lake Braies. I had my first Hugo here and it did not disappoint.
